The Beginning

D.J.’s love for writing started as a means of escape from the stress of everyday life. Being able to craft expansive worlds free from the worries of everyday life and the limitations of reality was a welcomed reprieve for the young author. A reprieve that grew to a passion, and from that passion, a dream. A dream to offer an escape for the world through his own imagination.

The Reason

This site was made as both a writing portfolio and a blog to showcase the works that D.J. has written over the years. It was not made with fame and fortune in mind, but solely as a means to display what they are capable of and offer a distraction from the woes of the natural world. It is his hope that someone reads one of his stories and thinks “Hmm. This is nice. I’m glad I read this.” If just one person enjoys his work, then he will know that he has succeeded as a writer.
